Isn't it great to be able to see what you're doing? Often when we're developing software it's like we're wearing a blindfold. Luckily, Chris Granger developed and open sourced LightTable and gave it a plugin system that we can all take advantage of. We'll take a tour of what it's like to do exploratory live programming in LightTable using the Perl plugin. We'll also get a peek at an experimental omniscient debugger for Perl.

Rafael manages the technical team for xerox.com. He authored the Perl plugin for LightTable and has an avid interest in functional languages. You can follow him on twitter @bosquefrio.
