As web applications develop and push new boundaries we can't expect to keep
using the same old tools to test those applications. As our programming
toolbox grows, so does the need to update our testing toolbox.

We'll take a tour of new tools and projects that may just what you need to find
those bugs earlier and make sure your application's quality continues to find
new heights. We'll look at Selenium RC and IDE, Google's Load Time Analyzer,
the Test Anything Protocol, Smolder and others.

Each of these tools will not only make your job easier, but allow you to
spread the testing and QA bug around to your whole team allowing non-technical
members to be more involved. Not only will they be impressed by the visually
attractive tools, but will be able to provide you with more information instead
of just writing vague, unhelpful bug reports.
