* primed up your laptop with whatever code, media, or presentations you'll need
* Added the YAPC phone number to your address book - 866-667-YAPC(9272)
* told friends to come to YAPC
* picked a Perl shirt to wear on the plane so people can spot you at the airport
* packed those things you might need:
- * your conference t-shirts to show everyone where you have been
- * your old conference badges to swap through them every few hours to confuse people
- * Fluxx or other games to play during the hallway track
- * power cords for all your toys
- * a short extension cord (you always have power if you can create new outlets)
