Promulger: Yet Another MLM
Mailman sucks. It does a lot of boneheaded things and it's got a lot of boneheaded defaults. Plus it does far more than is really needed. As part of my job doing admin work at Shadowcat, a need has come up for a simpler, more admin-friendly mailinglist manager. Promulger is the work that came out of this need. This will be a quick public announcement of the project to tell people why it's needed and its overall goals.
