Back by popular demand (well, maybe not popular demand, but it's back)! Let's get together and try some various beers from around the world. Preference is for something that's not widely distributed. Are you a Homebrewer? Bring some samples. This was done last year in Chicago and ended up being a lot of fun.
How are we supposed to be bringing this beer to Houston? Last year I brought a few bottles with my carry-ons, but I'm guessing they're not going to let us do that this time around. And I'm not sure I want to put a 6 pack of beer in my checked luggage. -Walt Mankowski (waltman)

According to my carrier (continental) ... Alcoholic beverages in retail packaging may be checked as baggage. A customer will be permitted to check up to 5 liters (1.3 gallons). The alcoholic beverages should be packed to prevent breakage. Continental shall not be liable for breakage or spillage of alcoholic beverages. ( link ) -Heath Bair (Candybar)
