Salt Lake City has quite a few microbreweries, pubs, bars, and nightclubs. Many also serve food. Salt Lake City's liquor laws have been relaxed and simplified in recent years.

Fare Free Zone or Walkable

Outside of the Fare Free Zone
- The Pie Pizzeria - Underground -- By the University of Utah; best pizza west of the Rockies, and pitchers of beer. Open until 1:00am. 1320 East 200 South.
Just the hard stuff
To purchase bottled liquor (as opposed to served drinks) you have to go to a state liquor store. There's one within walking distance of the hotel (assuming you're still able to walk a straight line).
