Common Perl programming behaviors can result in the programmer suffering from various cancers, dandruff, debilitating joint pain, sweaty feet, heart ailments, psoriasis, digestive problems, allergies, bad breath, increased susceptibility to the flu and diabetes, and declining mental function. A measurement driven approach to living, along with certain modules, including ;use sunshine; can prevent and even reverse these problems. These remarks are drawn from my study and experimentation over the past 14 years.
