Bitcoins are a new, electronic alternative currency.
In this talk I'll discuss the history of Bitcoins and its pseudonymous author; how bitcoins, bitcoin mining, bitcoin wallets and addresses, and the blockchain work; how to use perl to interface with bitcoin software and websites; and the future of bitcoins.
Special attention will be given to perl's interactions with everything bitcoin!
