Thompson Conference Center"s location on the northeast corner of UT Austin"s main campus, in central Austin, provides easy access via bus, taxi, automobile, and bicycle. Thompson Conference Center is one block away from IH-35, the main North-South artery of Austin.

A quick 25-minute ride on MetroAirport will deliver you to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. MetroAirport has convenient stops downtown and the University of Texas at Austin. More than 16 hotels are within a couple of blocks of MetroAirport, making it a great resource for travelers. When you arrive in Austin, catch the MetroAirport bus on the airport"s lower level every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour.
The bus STOP San Jacinto/23rd is a 2-minute walk to the Thompson Conference Center

Shuttle
SuperShuttle is more economical than a taxi. SuperShuttle passengers share the ride with others going in their direction in a blue van. Advanced reservations and pre-payment are required. One -way between airport and Doubletree Austin University is approximately $15.00.

Megabus
Megabus provides a low-cost, express bus service. There is service to Austin from Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Fares on Megabus start at $1.00. Reservations must be made online prior to arriving at the pickup spot. Tickets are non-refundable.
Megabus loads/unloads on Whitis Avenue and 20th Street in Austin. It is approximately one mile from Thompson Conference Center.

Parking
A limited number of parking spaces are available to those attending programs at the Thompson Conference Center. Enter the Parking Lot off of Red River Street. Park in Lot 40.
Bicycle Parking Rack
Bicycle parking rack is located outside of Thompson Conference Center"s North Entrance. You must provide your own lock. The university is not responsible for any incidental damages that occur to bicycles or locks while on campus. Bicycles secured to anything other than a bicycle rack are considered improperly parked and can be impounded by the university.
