Computers are hard to use. We, programmers, are hard to understand, even by other programmers. We are never taught human interface design, yet we write interfaces between humans and computers all day long. The programs we write, the web sites we design, the code we write and the emails we write are all human interfaces.

This talk is an introduction to the fundamentals human interface design. How to think about and as your users do. How to predict their reactions and behaviors and steer them to do the right thing. How to analyze what "obvious" and "easy" really mean.
