Congress Avenue Bats

Home to the largest urban colony of Mexican free-tailed bats in the country. An estimated 1.5 million bats emerge from under the bridge at dust. Call the Bat Hotline on the day of your visit to determine the exact time of flight 512-416-5700 ext 3636. The bats can be viewed from the Congress Avenue Bridge.
