Wow, you are one of the 70-ish speakers at this conference. Some info:
1. Yes, currently you need to buy a conference ticket, your own flight, and lodging reservation. Those of you who are being sponsored know who you are.
2. Each talk room will have a video camera and operator, sound and video hookups for your laptop, a projection screen, and a microphone.
3. A speakers/staff dinner is probably being planned; details on-site.
