So you want to make a contribution to Perl? This talk describes (a) some areas in the Perl 5 core and toolchain that need attention; and (b) concrete ways to give them that attention. Among other ways, we'll talk about how to hold a distributed hackathon and use it as a way to bring people into the Perl community. (And, yes, to increase your -Ofun quotient at the same time!)
