Dec 23, 2014 YAPC::NA::2015 Call for speakers

The YAPC::NA call for speakers is now open! The Yet Another Perl Conference is a high-quality, inexpensive technical conference that celebrates the Perl programming language. The conference is accessible to anyone, regardless of experience, yet valuable to even the most skilled of programmers. Each year the conference attracts hundreds of programmers from around the world, including luminaries such as Larry Wall, Ricardo Signes, and Damian Conway. We invite you to be part of the event.

YAPC::NA will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 8-10th 2015.

This year we will be running 4 tracks plus a beginner track. We are interested in hearing talks on a variety of subjects but would particularly like to receive talks on the following topics:

Practical Applications of Perl Perl Success Stories The Future of Perl (Perl 6, p5-mop, gPerl, p2) Culture and Society

We will accept the following session types:

Short Talks (20 minutes) Standard Talks (50 minutes) Tutorial Session (80 or 110 minutes)

We will be recording presentations. If you do not want your presentation recorded please let us know in advance.

All speakers, apart from Lightning talk speakers, will receive free admittance to the conference. Lightning Talks

Due to their impromptu nature, the call for Lightning Talks will open at a later time. You may submit Lightning Talks at this time, but there is no guarantee on notification of their acceptance at this time.

Thank you; we hope you will participate either as a speaker or as an attendee. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us at talks@yapcna.org.
